Chocolate Cake style Brownies

1 and 1/2 cups of All purpose flour
1 tsp Baking powder
1/4 tsp Baking soda
Pinch of salt
1 and 1/4 cups sugar
2 eggs
4 tbsp butter/margarine
1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder ( I used Green and Blacks)
1 cup milk

Preparation Method:
Preheat oven to 180

In a large mixing bowl sift in the flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt and mix thoroughly with your hands.

Add sugar and Butter to a large pan on medium heat.

Add cocoa powder when half the butter has melted and stir until there are no lumps .
Now add in an egg at a time and stir well until you get a smooth shiny mixture.

Gradually add in a little flour and mix well , then add a little milk and mix well.
Repeat this until all the flour mixture and milk is added to the pan and mix thoroughly until you get a smooth chocolaty batter.

Grease a oven dish with butter and dust with cocoa powder.

Pour in the batter and give the dish a quick tap to get rid of air bubbles.
Add chocolate sprinkles.

Put the dish on the middle shelf of your preheated oven and bake for 15 minutes.
You will know if it's ready if the skewer comes out clean when poked in the highest parts. If not , put it back in the oven for a few more minutes(keep and eye on it)

Now it's ready :) let it cool for a few minutes.

Cut into squares and enjoy warm with ice cream or with a nice cuppa :)
