Semolina Pudding

This semolina pudding is lovely comfort food and very easy to make :) My other half tasted it in London when my mum made it for him and ever since then he is addicted to it  :)

Ingredients:
1 cup of coarse or fine semolina

1/2 cup of sugar (or to taste)
1 Tbsp unsalted butter.
2 and 1/cups of milk.
A few strands of saffron

Preparation method:

Add The butter, semolina and sugar to a pan and turn the heat up to medium.

Roast the semolina in the butter for 2-3 minutes.

Now add the milk to the pan with a few strands of saffron (optional) stir continuously until you get the desired thickness.

Serve in a bowl and enjoy while hot.
I put some more strands of saffron on top for decoration, but you don't need to do this.

This is a great alternative to porridge and very warming.

Enjoy.
